Caterpillar has developed a prototype electric 793 mining truck, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable heavy-duty machinery. This truck, tested at the Tucson Proving Grounds, is part of a larger initiative to develop a range of all-electric equipment, including autonomous vehicles. Caterpillar is also exploring hydrogen and solar energy to complement its electric fleet.
