Two hikers are starting their journey through the 100-mile wilderness on the Appalachian Trail. They are excited to be back in their home terrain and are looking forward to the challenge of the difficult terrain and humid weather. They are hoping to reach Katahdin, but weather conditions may force them to adjust their plans.
