Athearn is introducing a new line of "deformed" freight cars, featuring realistic wear and tear. The first model in this line is the 2494 RailGon Gondola, available in various road names and paint schemes. Preorders are open until March 28th.

The video features the unboxing and testing of a large collection of vintage Athearn locomotives. The locomotives were sent to the creator by a person named Ricky, who had inherited them from their grandfather. The creator is excited to see how many of the locomotives are still in working order and plans to restore them.

Athearn is releasing new Genesis EMD GP7, GP7L, and GP8 diesel locomotives. The models include various road numbers and eras, including Rock Island, Southern Railway, Seaboard Coastline, and Conrail. Pre-orders are open until February 28th.
