Two friends, with no metal detecting experience, set out to scan a three-mile beach in Cape May, hoping to find treasure. They enlist the help of a professional metal detectorist, who teaches them the basics and even buries a briefcase of cash as a challenge. The friends, armed with shovels, sifters, and a dog, embark on their adventure, encountering various finds along the way.
