Nikon is offering a free swap-out program for older EN-EL15 batteries used in the D500 camera. If you have a D500 and your batteries are marked "lithium ion 1" on the back, you can exchange them for newer batteries marked "20". There is no limit to the number of batteries you can swap out, and you only need a copy of your D500 sales receipt.
