Two creators travel to Monowi, Nebraska, a town with only one resident, to spend 24 hours. They meet the resident, an 88-year-old woman named Elsie, and learn about the town's history and how it came to be so sparsely populated. The creators then spend the night alone in Monowi, reflecting on their own experiences with loneliness and the importance of finding peace within oneself.
