Westone Laboratories introduces the Ambient Series in-ear monitors, designed to let some of the outside world in. These monitors feature a damper or filter that allows for a 12 dB reduction in ambient noise while maintaining full frequency response. This allows musicians to hear their monitor mix while still being able to interact with the audience or other musicians on stage.

Westone Audio has updated their W series in-ear monitors with new features and models. The W series now includes a Bluetooth cable option, a new silver cable, and a flagship model, the W80. The company has also replaced the W30 and W50 with the B30 and B50, which are more bass-heavy models.
