The video follows a couple on the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu, starting with their arrival in Cusco and a welcome meeting with the alpaca expedition team. The first day is the most challenging, with a long hike to Humantay Lake and then up to the Salkantay Pass, the highest point on the trek. The second day is long but mostly downhill, leading to a night in "Hobbit houses."
