Brother Mel believes this is utterly false. The true origin of the name “Zamzam” has pagan roots. According to Islamic sources, other phrases like, “Zamazima” and “Zamazama” lie closer to the name, “Zamzam” and most likely refer to Persian Zoroastrians and their prayerful recitations and their god, “Zam”.
