As explained on my Instagram a few weeks ago (@MadisonDohnt), my doctor sent me for an ultrasound for PCOS after I reported my raised lymph node to him. He also already knew about my Acne and elevated DHEAS (androgen) levels, and so we thought it was about time to check. PCOS and Acne and their association due to the high testosterone levels has been known for a while now, but I didn’t actually think that my sudden acne outbreak in 2019 would lead to a diagnosis… I mean, I'd never had acne before? I have been very lucky with my health and am generally a very healthy person living a healthy lifestyle and so in this video I wanted to share with you my polycystic ovarian syndrome diagnosis, my polycystic ovary syndrome symptoms and continue to take you along on my acne journey as I find the root cause and clear my skin the right way (naturally) and for the long-term!
