Is the struggle for food and resources really the primary driver of history and geopolitics? While the Marxist lens offers a useful foundation, it fails to explain the world we live in today. In this video, I argue that the human need for freedom of expression and the will to live according to one's values is just as fundamental as our need for bread and sleep. We explore why the creation of Pakistan is a perfect case study for this theory. While material needs matter, the demand for a separate homeland was fundamentally about ideological survival—something that wouldn't have been possible under a dominant culture. Finally, we connect this to modern geopolitics, showing how the global game is now a two-front war: one for resources, and one for the right to defend one's own values and narrative. What you will learn in this video: The Limits of Marxism: Why the "base and superstructure" model is becoming outdated. The Hierarchy of Human Needs in Politics: Moving beyond food and shelter to include expression and ideology. The Pakistan Case Study: Re-examining the Two-Nation Theory not just as a political movement, but as a validation of ideological geopolitics. Modern Geopolitics: How today's conflicts (East vs. West, Global South vs. North) are battles for both physical resources and the freedom to express cultural identity.
