Hi! This is one of my favorite schedules from Op. 2 era and I'm honored I got to sub it - note that there may be minor inaccuracies or changes made later on! All credits of the video go to MBC and affiliated parties, whereas I did the subbing, translating and timing. Please know that for the sake of order and conversations looking neat, I omitted some words - especially when Jonghyun and Jung Yumi are talking at the same time - and kept them when they were essential to the conversation itself. I will list below some that I didn't add in the subtitles for anyone who's curious or currently learning like me! Also, the first tattoo Jonghyun was referring to was most likely a picture of someone else that he showed his mom as an example. At 00:55 Jonghyun talks about the lights being bright and the DJ simply acknowledges it with a '네' = yes and does the same at 01:17 onwards while he talks about his experience as DJ. At 01:38 she says '네네 그지' = yeah, yeah, right When acknowledging what Jonghyun says, she says 'yes' a lot in between conversations, and vice-versa! Anytime you hear '네네' = ne ne or '예예' = ye ye, that's a way of acknowledging each other's words. At 02:22 she says '그렇군요' = I see, which I added. At 02:36 she says '그래요? 진짜요?' = is that so? really? At 03:27 Jonghyun says '그리고 이제...' which literally means 'by the way, and now' which was more of a way of starting his sentence. At 06:39 the DJ says '아우.. 참.. 어머니가' which is once again a way of expressing her surprise and starting the sentence. At 06:52 she says '그렇죠' = right, exactly and at 06:58 she says '그죠' = right, true to Jonghyun. When Jonghyun says '잘 듣고 있읍니다' at 17:42 she answers with '앗, 아닙니다' which is a way of 'deflecting' the compliment because she's shy! At 20:34 Jonghyun says '재밌었다... 이런 상황 있었다' = that was funny... this - situation - happened... Once again at 29:39 he says '아 그래요?' = ah, really? in response to her words. At 33:51 while the DJ speaks, he says '아 맞아요' = ah, that's correct, ah, that's true Here's a list of interesting or idiomatic expressions you may want to know. At 18:42 Jonghyun '이런 분들은 또 이제 약장수처럼 제가 약을 팔아드릴게요', the literal translation wouldn't make much sense but contextualised in this segment, like I said in the video, it's an idiom expressing the concept of selling someone something making them believe it's great and them not buying it. It also ties to the funny Jonghyun business man jokes he makes throughout the interview. At 23:16 he says '입으로 먹고 살아서요' which is another idiom, feeding oneself with their mouth, again another business related joke. At 23:53 he makes a joke with Zion.t's song title. Usually people would say '나쁜놈' when a person is being bad. He joked around because he helped her get familiar with the DJ console and she laughed. At 29:57 Jonghyun says '아유 그런말씀을 하심 피해의식이에요' the last word refers to some sort of victim complex but in a jokingly way, so the both of them laugh about it.
