The third stage of scrap tire processing is designed to reduce the crumb size and remove the nylon fiber. the clean wire free rubber that is produced in Stage 2 is now ready to be made into granulated crumb rubber ranging from 1-8 mm. CM Granulators are heavy-duty and built specifically for processing tire rubber and other materials. The machine has an all-welded frame which utilizes a replaceable wear liner. The rotor is wear-resistant steel construction, and the knives and screens are easily accessible through hydraulically powered access doors. Bearings are located outside of the cutting chamber to ensure years of trouble-free operation. The CM Granulator can process wire-free rubber into ground rubber that is in size. During this process the majority of the fiber is separated and ready for removal. The CM Granulator is utilized for Stage 3 crumb rubber processing systems.
