In this video, I show you a completely unedited training session with Dale, the OTTB (Off the Track ThoroughBred). You will see that he finds it hard to relax under saddle and once I ask him to move into the trot he moves around with his head in the air and hollow in the back. This is not good for him from either a mental or a physical perspective. I will show you what I do to get him to relax a little and begin to "stretch" his head and neck which will relax his body.
