Will this car ever run again? I've been wrong more times than the weatherman. Major fuel infection!

I'm at my wits end! I only have a few more things I can try, and it may be time to throw in the towel. My biggest worry is that the original diagnosis of the speedometer sensor may still be the issue. I replaced the antiquated sensor with the new and improved version, but I am still not convinced it is compatible with the twin throttle body injection of the 84 Crossfire. Every supplier lists it as compatible but is the sensor for crossfire injection really compatible with tuned port injection? The ECM and the speedo cluster is different so... Nonetheless, I keep throwing parts at it, in hope of hitting the bullseye.
