Looking for a scenic & fun-filled family-friendly UTV/SxS Sonoran Desert off-road adventure near Saguaro Lake? We’ve played in the Rolls many times. Usually, we head to one or more of the 4 beach coves at Saguaro Lake. Tim & Darren said it’s been years since they’ve driven to Cane Springs, which is located above the Rolls at 3,300’ in the Four Peaks Wilderness area. Tim offered to be the guide. It’s a sightseeing ride with jaw dropping vistas from high ridge tops. You can even see Saguaro Lake in the distance. My wife Robin was busy & suggested I take someone else. Long ago I offered our neighbor Pam a ride whenever she was ready. With her sister Patty visiting it was time. Larry had an empty passenger seat & was willing to take one of them. A coin was tossed & Patty came with me. Tim added a bit of excitement during the first part of the ride by staying off the main dirt roads. The trails gave our guests a glimpse of what Sonoran Desert off-road trail rides were about. Their cell phones were busy taking photos or videos most of the ride. On some of the roller coaster, narrow, serpentine sections we were able to pick up the pace enough to give them some “oh my” memories. We finished the adventure in Sycamore Creek where drive-by splashing soaked a few of us. Yes, there was water in the creek! 😉 If you are a trail rider looking for a family-friendly sightseeing trail this may be the adventure you’ve been looking for!
