Get passes to this year's Homestead Festival at https://thehomesteadfestival.com/ Charles (Butch) Tindell is a farmer/rancher and instructor at The Ploughshare Institute for Sustainable Culture (sustainlife.org) near Waco, Texas. He has over 40 years’ experience farming and ranching and has taught sustainable farming to hundreds of farmers and gardeners as well as developed and published courses and curricula, manuals and articles. His work involves bio-intensive food production, permaculture and holistic management on projects ranging in size from backyard gardens to ranches of over 10,000 acres across the US. He holds a BBA from Angelo State University, a Permaculture Design Certificate from Oregon State University and studied and/or collaborated with leaders in regenerative agriculture such as John Jeavons, John Navazio, Darren Doherty and Allan Nation. With his wife, Diane and their children and grandchildren, they raise cattle and sheep on their family farm in central Texas. COME GROW WITH US...
