This is narration of how Loud Cry started. It was narrated by Mr. Lawrence Shikupilwa at the Loud Cry Singers' 25th Anniversary. He says Loud Cry was started in the 1990s by three brothers; Joseph Shikupilwa, Atrass Shikupilwa and Lawrence Shikupilwa. They were originally called Bant Trio and they used to be invited in crusades. The trio was joined by two boys; James Jnr Shikupilwa and Gift Ngoma Shikupilwa. James, the current bassman was singing alto and Gift was singing soprano. When Gift's voice matured, he started singing alto joined by Ruth Shikupilwa and soprano was now taken by Barbra Shikupilwa. This was in 1996 and the name Loud Cry was given to this group. The name was given by Evangelist Jethro Mweemba. This is the team that brought in volume one. Mr. Lawrence explains where Loud Cry started from, he says it started from the deep village of Keembe. He says Evangelist Choombela discovered the Loud Cry and requested that they join the, by then, 11th Hour Ministry, Today it is called The Advent Hour Ministry. Mr. Lawrence is joined by Elder Mwananyau who also explains how they used to visit his home immediately after crusades, he says he is a brother to The Loud Cry Singers. He says he was working with Evangelist Choombela and Evangelist Kalyanga in the 11th Hour starting from 1999.
