Every time I visit Estero Llano Grande State Park in Weslaco, Texas, I’m reminded why so many people call it one of the prettiest little parks in the Rio Grande Valley. Even though I didn’t have the best luck with bird photography on this trip, the park’s peaceful trails, lush wetlands, and quiet beauty make it a place I always love to explore. While the birds were a bit shy today, I did come across some curious garter snakes — and, to my dismay, more than a few spiders 😬. Still, that’s part of the adventure!
