Oh boy. This is the fight I was worried about. The obstacle that stands in the way of unlocking subclasses. Honestly, the fight wasn't awful. It just took forever because of, ya know, basic attacks. A long fight also means running out of TP which made things extra fun. It would've probably been a better idea if I played defensively at the start to gain accumulative resistance to all of Ketos's disables just so I don't have to worry about it for the remainder of the fight. Oh well, it probably wouldn't have mattered since dying resets accumulative resistance. But after this fight, subclasses are unlocked which means I don't have to play Sovereign much anymore as most of my party is just going to focus on subclass skills. They are pretty much going to be worse versions of the classes they are using as subclasses with leftover points going towards useful Sovereign skills. Subclassing is just silly in this game. Notes about this run: -Played on Expert difficulty of course. -This is a New Game Plus file (mostly for convenience). -No stat book grinding. Only books obtained through treasure chests and quest rewards are allowed. -I won't being showing Oceanic Quest bosses since the NPCs kind of get in the way of the run.
