Creating A HEALTHY Environment For Baby Budgies To THRIVE | Hand-fed Parrots

Hello everyone, welcome or welcome back to HeyItsMay’s Pets where I do my best to advocate for proper pet care for animals both big and small. Today I share with you my first batch of baby budgies. Avery and Bo (two wild colored budgies) fell in love and had 7 eggs together. 6 out of the 7 eggs hatched (two within the incubator) and voila! Today I introduce to you my precious hand-fed budgies. We introduce them to their first “big-bird cage”! I currently have… DOG: Bear, a 6 year old GSD who was originally going to be trained to be my Psychiatric Service Dog due to a numerous of different mental health conditions which makes me unable to do certain tasks, however, Bear has a lot of fear and is a washed service dog. Meaning he is no longer going through my owner trained service dog training and is living with my parents as a spoiled little snout family dog 🙂 CATS: Raven, a 1.5 year old DSH black kitty who was an orphan kitten I found abandoned on the farm I was living at. Raven is now in good health, living her best life with her brother Cronk. She enjoys giving me the death stare and then knocking over glasses of water, plants and other things that shouldn’t be knocked over. Cronk, a .5 year old medium-haired black and white kitten who enjoys harassing everybody with his chaos and making people laugh. At my parents I have my childhood cats AKA the OG Raven and Cronk - Max a 14 year old DSH black cat and Rocket a 10 year old DSH black and white cat. BIRDS: Conures - Gigi, a 4 year old yellow-sided green cheek conure who LOVES cuddles. She is also sassy and loves to demand sunflower seeds. She’ll give me a kisses when I ask for a kiss. Rio, a 2 year old violet-turquoise green cheek conure who loves to throw everything on the floor of his cage and not pick it up. He likes my mom and will call her “my baby” everytime he sees her. He also says “pretty birdie” and “step-up” from time to time. Cockatiel - Hamilton, a 10 year old cockatiel who is quite timid. He was surrendered to me by his original owner and is enjoying retirement by whistling to the other birds..and yes I taught him to cat call. He makes such cute little sounds and likes to free fly in the bird room and explore when I am not in there. He is getting more and more out of his shell everyday.
