Welcome back to the channel. This week, we finally have a new meta for Season 24's Go Battle League. The 2025 Championship awries cup. Unlike a lot of the Niantic/Scopely metas, this one looks quite well thought out. Numerous typings are allowed, and unlike usual, they have baned a lot of overpowered Pokémon. Unfortunately for me and other Shadow Pokémon enthusiasts, Shadows are banned. Well, they were supposed to be, anyway. I caught wind that clearly something has gone wrong in the coding, and Shadows are currently eligible. I very quickly took the opportunity to get some sets in, and as always, Shadow Pokémon aren't here to take part; they are here to take over. I've had previous success in the open Great League with the core of Gyarados + Claydol, so I decided to run it back. Leading today's line is Galalie, a Pokémon that has Avalanche and Shadow Ball as its charge moves—two of the best charge moves in the entire game! Despite taking a large period of time off, this team went on an absolute tear, gaining around 150 ELO. Sit back, relax, and let the battles commence!
