This grade 3 scramble involves steep ascents, narrow ridges, and challenging terrain that requires careful navigation and climbing skills. But for those willing to take on the challenge, the views are unparalleled. Join us on this thrilling journey as we navigate the various sections of the ridge, including the notorious Am Bodach and Meall Dearg. Along the way, we'll encounter breathtaking views of the Scottish Highlands and rugged mountain peaks. However, it's essential to note that this hike is not for the faint-hearted, and there are inherent risks involved. The ridge is exposed, and a misstep can be fatal. Therefore, we recommend that only experienced hikers with proper equipment and climbing skills attempt this trail. But for those ready to take on this challenge, the rewards are worth it. The sense of accomplishment at the end of the trail is unbeatable, and the panoramic views are truly breathtaking. There are two Munros (Scottish mountains with a summit of at least 3,000 feet or 914.4 meters) on the Aonach Eagach ridge: Meall Dearg and Sgorr nam Fiannaidh. Aonach Eagach can be lethal. Amongst its fatalities are very experienced hillwalkers
