This urgent humanitarian response comes as families enter the blessed month of Ramadan facing severe economic hardship, unable to provide proper Iftar meals. As the month of fasting begins, the inability to prepare a proper Iftar meal adds to the pain of displacement and loss. This distribution of fresh chickens allowed families to cook a nourishing meal and feel that they are not alone during this holy month—a gesture of solidarity and care that brings comfort to the heart.
