Riva Bahn Express (Lift #6) is a four-person detachable chairlift located at Vail Ski Resort. The lift runs from Vail Village up to near the bottom of the Highline Express (#10) and Northwoods Express (#11) chairlifts on the eastern half of the ski resort. The lift serves as the primary connection between the eastern portions of Vail Village, Golden Peak, and the rest of the resort. Skiers and riders may ride this chairlift in both directions, allowing an alternative to the long traverse back to the village, where snow conditions can vary in the early and late season. The lift features a mid-station on Golden Peak, where guests may unload but not load the chairlift in both directions. The chairlift was manufactured by Garaventa CTEC and installed at the resort in 1996, replacing the 1967 Golden Peak Riblet double chairlift.
