🚂 From Horses to Hubs: The Great Rail Rebuild | Big Spending & Museum Line Challenge (Vanilla Mode) In this episode, we take a massive leap forward in our Big Spending & Museum Line challenge—played entirely in Vanilla mode, with no mods, no shortcuts, and no custom assets. After more than 60 years of in-game progress, we’re transforming our transport empire from a sprawling web of horse-drawn wagons into a sleek, efficient rail network that connects six towns across the region. We start by ripping out outdated truck routes and replacing them with our first regional train hub, supplying Whitnash, Blackrod, and Okehampton with industrial goods. Then we scale up with Hub 2, strategically placed between Longtown, Whaley Bridge, and Marlborough, creating a second logistics powerhouse to handle food, construction materials, tools, and machine deliveries. Along the way: We retire over 400 road vehicles, streamlining operations and reducing congestion Rebalance key supply chains for wood, grain, steel, and finished goods Build new stations and truck stops in each town, carefully avoiding interference with existing bus routes Set up dedicated train routes tailored to each town’s needs, with custom wagon splits for maximum efficiency Launch our first transfer train between Hub 1 and Hub 2 to keep machines moving across the map This episode is all about scale, strategy, and precision. Every track laid and train released brings us closer to our ultimate goal: hitting that 200 million maintenance milestone and completing the challenge in style. 📅 New episodes drop every Sunday at 5PM UK time. 💬 Like, comment, and subscribe to follow the journey as we build a rail empire from the ground up.
