Here on the NS R-Line throughout the towns and communities of Smallwood, Simpson, Adger, Woodward, Cornwell, Chester and Rock Hill, NS 192 is seen making his way northbound with NS 1800 rebuilt EMD SD70ACC in the lead. This unit carries quite a unique paint scheme as it has the colors from the company Caterpillar which partnered in the rebuilding these locomotives. NS 1800 was given the yellow paint scheme to commemorate to partnership along with NS 1801 which is currently in storage. This without a doubt made the chase worthwhile. After receiving an update on his departure from Columbia, I made my way out to chase him down starting off at a location just outside of Ridgeway in the small community of Smallwood. Here, NS 192 is seen climbing the grade making his way north. Next, I catch up to him at Simpson as he comes by the South Simpson Signal. Next, we see him in Adger next to St. John AME Church as he starts to get back on the move after stopping just short of the signal at the north end for a fly and release. Next, I caught up to him at milepost R60.6 just south of Woodward. Next, we see him passing through the small community of Cornwell as he continues northbound. Next, we see him pass through Chester passing the L&C interchange. Then Finally, we wrap up in Rock Hill as he pulls into Rock Hill Yard to pick up and drop off what they needed for the rest of the trip. As always, enjoy the video!
