Dr. Ken Milne, an associate professor at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and Emergency Physician discusses the issue of "emergency department crowding." He explains what it is, what are the implications and what we can do to solve this issue. He uses the concept of 'Zombie Ideas' in his talk to explain some of consistent misunderstandings that people have around crowding in the emergency department. He was joined by Dr. Kay Dingwell, Emergency Physician from Prince Edward Island.
