Camino 2016 The Way of St Francis

In May 2016, we walked from La Verna where St Francis received the stigmata, to Rome, skipping a few stages due to the time limitations we had, all the while struggling to maintain the mindset of accepting peace as it presents itself to us. Some days were as peaceful as it can be and some were, in varying degrees, challenging. But, our Camino experiences over the last 5 years taught us that what we see and feel now are just a fraction of the lessons to be learned. This slideshow is a reminder for me to savior these two weeks of walking with St Francis and anticipate with joy all the gifts as they reveal themselves in the days to come.
