The team has an emerging sensing solution which helps sorting the valuable minerals from the rest of the mined material at the earliest point of the mining process. The earlier the sorting is done; the higher mining efficiency is achieved with a lower environmental impact. The technology is a unique combination of laser illumination, hyperspectral sensing and proprietary machine-learning algorithms.
