It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelina Profiri (Ciaruffoli) on December 20, 2025, at the age of 81 years. Michelina is lovingly remembered by her children, Alfiero and Oriana (Ernesto); her grandchildren, Briana (Keaton), Elana, Etro, and Noemi; her brother, Antonio Pierucci; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in Italy. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Oreste; her parents, Ada and Marco Ciaruffoli; her brother, Elio Pierucci; and her daughter-in-law, Geserina. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all who have reached out, as well as the doctors and nurses of the University of Alberta Hospital. Prayer Service Monday, December 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral Mass Tuesday, December 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue, Edmonton. Reverend Father Roy Antony CFIC officiating with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum. This channel will provide a livestream of the Prayer Service and Funeral Mass for those unable to attend in person. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in memory of Michelina may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
