Thanks again, David Story of the Collab: When I finished writing this song. I just knew it was missing something. There were many interludes and breaks I wrote in that had to be filled. Being that it's about LoZ, this song could not be complete without an Ocarina! Even after uploading the original vid, fans agreed there was something missing, but I already knew that=) Many youtube users have asked me for a collab; Kaiser was the only real collab I have ever done and only had the time for, and I've never asked anyone. And guess who I just had to ask!..no other than epic Docjazz4 himself=) I almost thought he forgot about the song; then, I found out he had been working on the song (in the US) while I waited (here in Germany). I never thought it would turn out so beautiful; every suggestion he made, I couldn't deny. The piano was such sweet touch, and the Ocarina was purely made of Win. He made the song even so much more than epic....Lyrics & the Music of Zelda magically intertwined. I am thrilled that I and David had contributed something to the Zelda universe with this song..making the LoZ world closer to ours.. Story of the Song: I noticed there were many original songs inspired by other videogames, and decided to search one for the LoZ. I didn't find any, but that's how I stumbled on Doccjazz4. I get inspired to write songs from anything, and LoZ is such an epic game that maybe i can contribute my songwriting to it in some way. And who else should I focus on for the song? of course Link and Zelda...and even Ganon (Dark Prince). We all know that Link is a man (or I should say Hyrulian) of Not So Many Words. Link has rarely showed it, but have you ever wondered how Link truly feels for Zelda? In writing this song, I attempted to step into Link's white tights in order to understand his motives and reasoning in saving his princess with each and every installment. I just hope I've interpreted his love for Zelda in this Song in some meaningful way. I've also tried to relate it to the real world, for the non-Zelda fans (if there are any).
