The first day of the year... the winter eventually visited Hellas during Christmas holidays. Across the country everything is covered by the white veil. The valley of Thebes is in the middle of the southern snowstorm. However, the most extraordinary place to be is the forest and the mountains... from where the single line passes. The atmosphere…unique, the landscape is just like a fairytale. Everything so untouched but also they look like they were decorated. The first train passes by and the nature is upset for a moment, but after some seconds the whole place is peaceful again. The ice on the rails, the frozen brook, the snow-covered grass, the foggy mountains and the cold northern wind. ADtranz DE2000 are the most common viewed locomotives on the mainline, but under this circumstances they become a spectacular theme for video and photography.
