REVEREND GIDEON AKEJU is a man of many parts in the Apostolic Church family. He has risen through the crucible of ecclesiastical ventures thereby leading his eyes to see the good, the bad and the ugly of the work of God. For 50 Years straight years since he gave his life to Christ, this gentle speaking minister of God have served without complain. Born into a Cherubim and Seraphim Church family some six and a half decades ago, Reverend Akeju is an ordained Child of God. The Osun State born Man of God was ordained from his mother's womb according to the book of Jeremiah Chapter 1 verse 5 as several revelations allegedly preceded his birth and how God was going to use him for His work. He started life as a trained tailor before joining the civil service in the early 70s where he horned his administrative skill until 1975 when he was fully drawn into the vineyard of God as a full fledged minister of God. During his ministerial activities, he came in contact with the late Arch-Bishop BENSON IDAHOSA as the encounter opened him to some amount of graceful endeavors. Even though he was later envied for being a special breed. His ecclesiastical activities took him to several towns and region like Saki, Owoh, Ilawe-Ekiti, Igbara-Oke, Igbara-Odo in present day Osun, Ondo and Ekiti States respectively. His passion for spreading the gospel through the sharing of tracts and gospel bulletin soon earned him a discipleship role in a church called HIS COMING EVANGELICAL CHURCH where his dexterity earned him persecution for years. He was subjected to severe persecution because he gave a revelation concerning his General Overseer, one Rev Dr. Ogundeji (late) and he was later sent out of the ministry after his dedicated years of service. By the time he left the ministry in 1978, REV. AKEJU already seen enough and learning his lesson the hard way. He saw every side of the modern day church. DURING a recent encounter with Asabe Afrika TV on Monday February 10, Year 2025, the Man of God recounted the full story of him life of grass to grace and how God used PROPHET (DR.) SEGUN ADEBAYO OF CHRIST APOSTOLIC WORLD END-TIME REVIVAL MINISTRY to bring him back to Apostolic awareness.
