TV actor Rahul Raj Singh dupes guests, hotel, after promising NY bash

Television actor Rahul Raj Singh has been booked for allegedly cheating people of lakhs of rupees by promising them a fun New Year party with singer Ankit Tiwari, at a Hotel in Mumbai's Juhu. According to the Santacruz police, when the singer did not turn up, the hotel stopped serving unlimited food and drinks, and the guests started vandalising the property. A senior police inspector informed that the hotel has lodged a case of cheating and criminal breach of trust against Rahul Raj Singh, and the police are also gathering details on the exact number of people Rahul Raj duped after collecting Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000 as entry fees. According to the hotel manager, the guests became restless after 12.15 AM when they ran out of food and drinks, and Amit Tiwari failed to turn up. The hotel incurred loss of property worth Rs 6 lakh, and Rahul had allegedly walked out without settling the bill that amounted to Rs 7 lakh.
