Illinois Railway Museum: Diesel Days

For the first time, A-Train4014 Productions makes a three day visit to the Illinois Railway Museum during its annual Diesel Days event on from August 6-8. This is where the collection of vintage diesel locomotives are operating various trains as well as the newly addition of "Throttle Time" where guests can operate the locomotive on the main line. See the CB&Q E5A 9911A "Silver Pilot", Chicago & North Western F7A 411, Santa Fe FP45 92, Rock Island GP7 4506, and many more! Andrew Mangalindan, Branden Phillips, Casey Walker, Miles Jajich, and Aaron Gonzales attended the event and captured footage of the trains in action. While filming on all three days, we also enjoyed seeing various railfans and fellow IRM Volunteers. The weather did get a bit humid on Saturday and Sunday but luckily there wasn't any rain that got our gear wet. Overall, we had a wonderful time during Diesel Days and we certainly look forward to another trip to the IRM! Enjoy the video from the Illinois Railway Museum during Diesel Days!
