Roundhouse George at the SLR

This ex-Summerlands George now belongs to Mike Jackson who brought it round in October to show me the latest wired, magnetic couplings from Porterhouse Models. These not only give instant coupling, but also electrical continuity for coach lighting etc. It was a windy day and we were not planning to video, but I took a few shots which I have now stitched together. There is rather too much steam - but we were not worried about that on the day! The loco is radio controlled, has an SSP Slomo, a DJB whistle and a Summerlands Chuffer with FX open on the small hole. The IOM coaches are, of course, Accucraft.
