Loads of people decided to enjoy this unique situation and put on their ice skates. Due to this, the characteristic Dutch canals were overcrowded by a mix of tourists and local people. But a sense of happiness and fun was everywhere. In this short video, the impressions of Amsterdam in winter are shown in 8mm retro style - like an old 20's movie. This film is inspired by the Dutch cheese commercial ''Old Amsterdam''. Therefore, I praise Kris de Bruyne's song ''Amsterdam''.
