Professionally, in that year Verdi Arias was recorded and released, I did my debut at the Teatro Colón, at the Met, at the Teatro Real, I broke relationship with my managers, tired with the superficial profile they were building on me (that was the germ of my own company, Cuibar Productions), etc, etc, for a long list of killing changes and emotions. In the middle of that turmoil, this concert at Santa Maria degli Angeli, was a nice, peaceful experience. Next stop after it was, indeed, my first Otello in Buenos Aires!
