World AIDS Month: How Innovation Is Shaping the Future of HIV Prevention in South Africa

Despite still carrying the largest HIV burden globally, the country operates the world’s biggest treatment programme and is nearing the global 95-95-95 targets, now estimated at 95-79-93. But progress remains fragile — particularly for young people. This interview was recorded on the eve of World AIDS Day, and today we’re joined by Ms Nomaxabiso Tata, National Programme Manager at Shout-It-Now, an organisation at the forefront of youth-centred HIV prevention, mental health support, GBV services and digital innovation.
