The changes to the procedure for adding Nutrients to the Dutch Buckets, adoptin Brock Hughes staged partition approach, seem to have been beneficial to the dutch buckets. I am getting no precipitation that I can detect, but the consumption of water has increased while the ppm drops meaning the consumption of nutrients has also increased. The difference was so marked I have checked the system for leaks and have found none. At the moment I am adding 20+ litres of water/day to the system, with sufficient nutrients to maintain 1050 ppm on the x700 scale, which is the equivalent of EC 1.4 or a 750 ppm on the x500 scale. I am absolutely amazed at ho the cherry tomatos have responded to the hydro setups, the plants are far more vigorous than those which I put in coir. Th coir plants are ripening now, whereas the NFT plant is in full flower and the dutch bucket cherry tomatos are fruiting and flowering with unbelievably thick & lush dark green foliage
