I feel that way too - men's mental health awareness short film / video 2020 PLEASE READ BELOW A few months ago I was working on a personal project which goes towards my university degree. We were asked to create a motion piece with a promotional package for a topic of our choice. Straight away I knew I wanted to do a men's mental health project. As well as this video I also created a men's mental health charity called Beacon and prototyped an app where men can feel part of a community in which they can support one another. Some of the app's main features include 24/7 online messenger to a counsellor, in-app messenger so they can chat to other users who understand what they're going through, a map that locates their nearest help point in the UK (counsellors, doctors, hospital, support groups etc), free podcasts and soundtracks, breathing exercises, yoga tutorials and much more, so users can find ways to cope that best suits them.
