  / lyricalive   A duet for Maribel Hearn and her potential other self. ...I've always been a big fan of "Yukaribel" theories: that is, the mysterious relationship between Maribel Hearn and Yukari Yakumo. Are the two related, or are they the same person? As Maribel's boundary-sensing powers develop, will she be thrown back in time to take on the role of the boundary youkai who creates Gensokyo, the very land she sees in her dreams? Does Yukari approve of her counterpart's meddling in other worlds as part of the Sealing Club, or does she need to keep her away to preserve the balance? Is she going to lure her in and eliminate her because There Can Only Be One? In this somewhat spooky song, the very concept of "Yukari" and her imminent appearance is portrayed as haunting Maribel's thoughts. The lyrics play with the concept of "boundaries" in terms of strange arrangement and crossing over of melodic lines. They also play with vague referential imagery as Merry struggles to interpret her confusing dreams.
