DJI Avata 2 Flight 4: CRASH! CRASH! 12JAN2026

Had a mostly great practice today flying in manual mode! I spent time practicing my orbits, a few dives and rolls. I get adventurous again and dive through some trees. Then I rip it right into the grass misjudging the altitude. I took off again from across the field while I probably shouldn't have and the controls led me to fly right into the ground again on a right turn back to the LZ. I lost my 3D printed bumpers somewhere as well as my Freewell UV filter. I was able to give her some TLC, a bath and a test flight. All appears to be ok! I'm learning quickly that I should probably build a custom FPV drone that I can beat up. Drone: DJI Avata 2 Goggles: DJI Goggles 3 Controller: DJI FPC Controller 3
