In this video, I travel from Reading to Theale on one of the Gatwick Express 387s leased to GWR. Because of Covid and the works at Gatwick Airport, the Gatwick Express has suspended operations. All but 6 of the Gatwick Express units have been split between, Southern and Great Northern. 387 201/2/3/4/5/6 have moved to GWR to work services between London Paddington/ Reading and Didcot Parkway/ Bristol Parkway/ Newbury. However the units with Great Northern are branded as Great Northern operated by the Gatwick Express, so what do I know?
