This AMA STEPS Forward® webinar explores the Mental Health Parity Index, a revolutionary, open-access tool that analyzes commercial insurance plans to compare mental health and substance use coverage with physical health services, using Transparency in Coverage data published by individual insurers.  Developed through a partnership between the AMA, The Kennedy Forum, Third Horizon, the American Psychological Foundation, The New York Community Trust, and Ballmer Group, the Index helps identify coverage gaps and inform data-driven policy and resource decisions across states.
