Disclaimer; we tried out the swimming with whalesharks because it was part if our tour. But I would not recommend it as I did not really enjoy it. It felt like mass tourism and there are way too many people and strict rules to actually enjoy it. So I would 100% recommend everything else we did but just not the swimming with whale sharks.
