Hu tu tu (1999) - Blockbuster Superhit Hindi Movie | Nana Patekar | Suniel Shetty | Tabu Movie Name: Hu Tu Tu (1999) Genre: Drama Director: Gulzar Producers: Dhirajlal Shah Starcast: Nana Patekar as Bhau, Suniel Shetty as Aditya Patel (Adi), Tabu as Panna Barve, Suhasini Mulay as Maltibai Barve, Shivaji Satam as Barve, Mohan Agashe as Sawantrao Gadre, Kulbhushan Kharbanda as P.N. Patel, Raj Zutshi as Arun Barve, Gracy Singh as Shanti, Ajit Vachani as Police Commissioner, Rajesh Khera. Movie Plot in Detail: The film opens with the kidnapping of Panna Barve, the daughter of Chief Minister Malti Barve, by a rebel group demanding the release of one of their members. While in captivity, Panna reminisces about her childhood, growing up with a power-hungry mother and a passive father. She recalls her past relationship with Aditya Patel, the man behind her kidnapping, who also struggled with a corrupt parent—his businessman father, P.N. Patel. Panna and Aditya had once found solace in a poor basti, guided by Aditya’s old teacher, Joshi Master, and the philosophy of poet Bhau, who opposed Malti’s political ambitions. However, a tragic accident led to Aditya being presumed dead, and Panna lost their unborn child. Back in the present, Aditya and Panna reunite, piecing together the events that transpired since their separation. When Bhau is returned to the gang with his mind destroyed by electric shock and Joshi Master is killed in jail, Panna and Aditya decide to take drastic action. They infiltrate an election campaign and detonate bombs, destroying everything. The film ends with Panna’s father working as a school headmaster, suggesting that the future lies in protecting and educating the next generation rather than perpetuating corruption.
