Moab Mag7 Climbing Arth's Corner to Getaway

This video is the climb up Arth's Corner to the intersection at Getaway and Great Escape near Gemini Bridge. There was a fair bit of traffic coming down this trail, though Great Escape is the better downhill ride. You can see that in our Mag7 pt3 video descending Bull Run. This video features me climbing behind a friend who is riding a manual bike. He is about 120lbs lighter than me, and a fit rider, so it is a good comparison of what riding the E160FS can do for you in terrain like the typical chunder found in Moab. It is also one of the reasons I build the bike with a Shimano motor vs a Bosch motor. The Shimano unit is torque and speed driven, and seems to respond well in those short steep technical sections. Other motors on the market require you to be pedaling much faster to add significant assist. The Shimano will work from almost zero rpm, so it is well equipped to get you over the techie climbs.
