[KSF C151B 615/616 - Joyride from EW3 Simei to EW4 Tanah Merah F] Date filmed: 9 December 2025 Time of recording: between 0814hrs to 0818hrs Towards: (2) Tuas Link Train Model: Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR/CRRC Qingdao Sifang C151B Train Run: 316 - 324 Depot of Origin: Tuas Depot Final Destination Depot: Tuas Depot Carriage filmed at: 2616 door A4/B4 area (No. 2 end) AM/PM/Full Day: Full Day Late Night Service → AM Peak Service (from Tuas Depot, Last Trip) This video features a KSF C151B, trainset 615/616, which is from Tuas Depot (TWD) to serve the East-West Line (EWL) for the AM Rush Hours (after swapping out from a Full Day Slot), from EW3 Simei to EW4 Tanah Merah F, bound for EW33 Tuas Link. This is a few days after Shutdown Phase 2 has been completed to facilitate connections from the East-West Line (EWL) to the new East-Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) and the new Tanah Merah Platform A. From 8th December 2025 onwards, the new platform at EW4 Tanah Merah opened its doors to the public which serves the Eastbound Trains towards EW1 Pasir Ris and overtakes the former Platform A (now named as Platforms B and C), with the trains also travelling on the new viaduct tracks when it arrives and departs EW4 Tanah Merah station. As you can see, the Westbound Trains after EW3 Simei utilizes a new Westbound Viaduct to head towards EW4 Tanah Merah Platform F (from 1:31 onwards), while the old viaducts saw its tracks being removed and will eventually be decommissioned. New transfer announcements to CGL is heard since the current Platforms C/D is renamed to Platforms D/E, and the Westbound Trains being Platform F (3:24). You would also see an R151 awaiting at East-Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) Transfer Berth 1 (TB1) since all EWL dispatches comes from ECID, and not from CHD anymore (2:24).
